_________________________________________________

During February and March we are making and selling scrunchies to raise money for the Kate Farrer Foundation (KFF), set up in loving memory of our aunt Kate who passed away in 2014.

Throughout her life Kate generously offered her medical expertise, friendship and financial support to many people in need. The KFF continues to support small charities which Kate cared deeply for alongside other grassroot causes with a focus on vulnerable women, children and essential medical services - Kate was a Neonatal Consultant. Last year the KFF supported projects in 18 different countries. These include supporting midwives working in refugee camps in Lebanon, funding education for vulnerable children in Uganda, providing therapists at a rehabilitation for chronically ill children in Moldova and working amongst the homeless in Cambridge. More info available on www.katefarrer.org

How it works:

1.    Pick a scrunchie!
Perfect for yourself or as a gift! All scrunchies are homemade by us with limited edition fabric so order quickly if there is a specific fabric you want. We will keep this page updated when any fabric fully sells out. Please only order a maximum of 2 scrunchies at the moment so everyone gets a chance. Click on the cover photo to view lots of photos! Or more photos down below......

2.    Donate!
Recommended price per scrunchie is between £6 - £10 (whatever you feel able to). If you would like to, please feel free to donate more – all the money goes to a great cause and we really appreciate your donations. You can still donate even if you don't want a scrunchie!

3.    Message us!
Please message either Lydia or Chloe Farrer on Facebook or email lydiafarrer@hotmail.co.uk which scrunchie(s) you would like and your address/your friends address if it is a gift - we can always add a message for you.

To continue the medical and philanthropic work of Dr Kate Farrer, who passed away in 2014, her family set up the Kate Farrer Foundation to support the types of charities she supported. We work with small charities around the world, from our base in Cambridge (UK) to global partners, with particular interest in social and medical welfare including paediatric and neonatal care (Kate's specialism). The Trustees ensure that all donations are used to support tangible projects and that donors are regularly updated on grant allocation.
