Story

Thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraising page for National AIDs Trust. Using my platform on Twitch, I will be raising money via streams, podcasting, merch & many other ventures to help educate, support & eradicate AIDS.

In 1981, the first five cases of AIDs was identified in 5 gay men, kicking off the stigma that is associated with the disease today. AIDs is not a dirty disease, nor is it a disease only contractable by gay men. It is a disease that can affect anyone, at any age, of any gender.

In 1995, we lost my Uncle Robin to AIDS. So this year, we are fundraising in his memory. Luckily, since Uncle Robin's battle with the disease, medicine has been developed and doctor's have been educated; and living with AIDs is no longer a death sentence. But there is still a way to go.

HIV is on the decline. In the UK, diagnosis' have dropped 32% in the last 10 years & with our help, National AIDs Trust aim to eradicate all new diagnosis' by 2030.
