Story
For the past 140 years, St Andrews First Aid, Scotlands only dedicated first aid charity, has been there when people needed it most.
Now, the charity is seeking help in a time of its own need, to raise half a million pounds and ensure that it can continue its ambition to create a nation of lifesavers an ambition for which everyone can play a valuable role.
Through the impact of COVID19, St Andrews First Aid has seen its regular sources of income all but wiped out. As a result, the charity now faces challenging decisions around how it can best continue to deliver life-saving skills to Scotland's communities, for years to come.
Since our establishment in 1882, we have sought to ensure that nobody dies because they needed first aid and didn't get it a mantra by which our charity continues to operate.
In the last five years alone, St Andrews First Aid has:
Trained more than 100,000 people in a wide range of first aid skills
Delivered 181,362 hours of time through its volunteer community
Attended 11,000 events across the length and breadth of Scotland
Please donate today and help us continue the work that we do in communities throughout Scotland.
