We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

After losing my father to Pancreatic Cancer last June, I can't think of a better way to spend father's day weekend, up to my eye balls in mud doing something positive with some amazing people I have the honour of calling friends and family.  I am taking part in the hope that the money I raise along with my team will go towards a charity which will ensure one day that other daughters and sons don’t lose their parents before they should. I also run for my Nana who was also taken by a rare soft tissue cancer in 2007 and for my Papa who passed of Oesophageal cancer when I was 15.

My motto for my Race for life 2016 is:
I race for life for those I loved that couldn’t be saved. In the hope that others you love will be.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and help me show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink.
