My Story
I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at the age of 28 years in May 2015 while 24 weeks pregnant. I had a mastectomy at 28 weeks pregnant and my son was born at 31 weeks via c-section and spent 4 weeks in special care (now 6 months and doing well!) I then did 6 rounds of chemotherapy followed by more surgery for a node clearance and I am about to start radiotherapy.
to get through May 2016 which will be my first cancer-versary and the second anniversary of my father in laws death (who passed away from bone cancer) I thought I would do the race for life, I did it a few years ago and have kept meaning to do it again. I will also be doing it in memory of my mums friend Jane Wilson who passed away 2.5 years ago from breast cancer.
I have four people on my team! come and join my team :)
