We raise funds for veterinary treatment to improve care of street dogs in Sri Lanka

Story

Today i visited Wecare Sri Lanka. Ive been following them on instagram for a while and wanted to see the amazing work they do

I would like to try and raise some funds for all the 'stripes' of sri lanka 🙏🏻🐾

These dogs are all either paralysed or amputees. With the right care some can walk again 🥰

There are 3 million street dogs in Sri Lanka lacking the most basic food, shelter and medical care. WECare Worldwide was set up by a UK vet to help them. They run a CNVR (capture, neuter, vaccinate and release) program. The treat sick and injured dogs with the most common issues being mange, maggot infections and road traffic accidents. They are 100% funded by donations

***please help if you can .... FOR STRIPE 💙🐾***

"WECare are going to save the world, one animal at a time!" Janey Lowes, very optimistic founding member of WECare Worldwide. We dream of providing healthcare for all animals in desperate need of help around the world. Yes, we know it's a big dream, but anything is possible when we all come together! WECare Worldwide is an organisation set up by Westway Veterinary Group, the largest veterinary practice in the North of England. Ultimately, WECare Worldwide plan to extend veterinary services around the globe but initially will be concentrating on tacking the issues with the street dog population in Sri Lanka. It is estimated that there are up to 3 million street dogs in Sri Lanka. WECare Worldwide are in the process of carrying out a 5 year plan in which we will look to help eliminate rabies in the country and also reduce the numbers of unwanted street dogs. We will also treat any sick or injured street dogs.
