6 weeks ago, October 25  2013 the most important person in my life passed away. My Dad, Graham Richard Collins died of Lung Cancer .

On Friday 6 December for some insane reason I have agreed to accompany BBC Radio Manchester’s fabulous mid-morning presenter Sam Walker on her mini-triathlon in aid of the BBC Radio Manchester’s £1 Million campaign, my workplace is raising money for Manchester’s amazing Hospital, The Christie. Now if you know me, you will know that I don’t RUN! I may play netball, go to the gym…. but I don’t do running! I have agreed to do the ‘run’ bit of Sam’s Triathlon. It’s 5K. (I don’t do 5 metres usually).

Please give anything you can, ideally I would love it if you just give a quid, as I know there are lots of requests nowadays for good causes. Dad never got to The Christie I’m sure you are well aware of the great work that they do.
