My gorgeous friends Sara Collins and Pipa Oliveri are today fighting a great battle against this horrible and cruel disease - Cancer
Sara has been through Chemotherapy, a full mastectomy, and now faces radiation and further surgery. Her sister Dani has also had to have a mastectomy for preventative measures as their beloved mother Marion was taken by cancer and they have inherited the gene. To say that Sara has been brave is an understatement she is amazing and an inspiration to everyone. Instead of letting her treatment get her down, she’s make up on off to work, partying or out with friends, no matter how much we nagged her to take it easy she wouldn’t listen and just carried on as normal. Having watched what she has been through I’m not sure I would have been able to carry on the way she has
Pipa, is currently halfway through Chemotherapy and again her bravery has astounded me. Never moaning always smiling and just getting on with life with four children, little Ellie is only three but she wouldn’t even know anything about her mum being unwell as Pipa hides it from her and is always smiling. I am so pleased that Pipa and Sara have become friends so they can give each other support during this harrowing time
