Story

Tickets For These Events Are Sold Separately

My name is Sam Turner, I am a Grand Prix dressage rider who trains and coaches in biomechanics and In-Hand training for all ages,  abilities, and disciplines.

I am organizing a few fun evenings raising money for the RDA and helping me with my young horse's training.  My lovely mare is a 5yr old 16.3hh warmblood that I’ve owned since a yearling.

She is ready for some more training. Her In-Hand work is coming on well and I’m very keen to give her the best education. We have had lots of outings, hiring arenas giving her various experiences. She is now ready to do a demo indoors with a bigger atmosphere and a larger crowd, who will be understanding if she needs time to take it all in and settle.

Thank you to everybody who supports this worthy cause. I'm looking forward to some fun evenings showing you how I train and educate my horses and hopefully giving you some tips and ideas to take home.

Look forward to seeing you at the events.

Cotswold Riding for the Disabled Association (Cotswold RDA) is so much more than a riding school! It’s a supportive community of riders, families, carers, schools, colleges, trustees, staff, and volunteers and of course, our ponies, all working together. Cotswold RDA delivered 7000 sessions last year, including group and 1:1 riding sessions, stable management and horse care, and welcomed 200 new participants to our innovative “Tea with a Pony” sessions for people living with dementia. 225 riders living with physical disabilities and learning difficulties rode with us over 6 days a week, enjoying the positive impact on their health and wellbeing. 200 volunteers supported our riders, gaining new skills and confidence as well as sense of fulfilment and new friendships.
