Story
On 29th January 2023, our Daddy Ji returned to his creator whilst on his annual trip to Pakistan visiting his parents and brothers. He said his goodbyes to his family here, and got the chance to say a final goodbye to his parents before leaving this temporary world. What seems like kismet now, only having one day in Pakistan, he was given the ending he would’ve wanted.
Despite living in the UK for 21 years, his heart was always in Dadyal, and that is now where he rests surrounded by what he loved most.
What started with him feeling discomfort and heartburn, ended with a silent heart attack and him raising his finger and with his final breaths, taking his shahada (declaration of faith) before he peacefully left this dunya to begin his next journey to the hereafter.
Having been the best father we could have ever wished for, the most caring son, loving husband, and a friend to all, we can honestly say he was one of the good ones. The most selfless, caring, funny person we’ll ever come across in our lifetime who always had a smile for everyone.
For a 45 year old, active, healthy man, there seemed to be no warning, but as his nature he always put others before himself and as fate would have it, he went with his mother by his side whom he dearly loved. All that lives on now is the beautiful memory of his kind nature, gentle words, caring soul, strong faith and patient character.
For our dad it was never the size of the action but the niyyah (intention) behind it; his actions were many and his intentions pure.
Giving to charity and helping the less fortunate at every opportunity he got; we aspire to live life the way he did. Never taking anything for granted and always saying Alhamdulillah for everything. Having the utmost patience and staying optimistic when the rest of us weren’t. He truly had the biggest heart, which we now all carry a piece of within us.
Pakistan was very close to our Dad's heart and therefore we have decided to fundraise for various causes in Pakistan where disparity is rife and support is limited. This is a struggle he faced personally and never forgot. Insha’Allah with your help we can do this Sadaqah Ja’ariyah for a man who was always selfless in his actions, even to his last breaths.
All the money raised will go towards Ummah Care Foundation; we will work with them to build a Masjid with a water plant in Jhang. The masjid and the local people will be able to access the water plant (Approx cost - £7500). Any additional funds raised will be used to support education projects in Azad Kashmir as our Dad was very passionate about education.
All of your support will be greatly appreciated. Please remember our dad in your prayers; May Allah grant him Jannah. If you would like any more information about this collection please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
