We deliver outstanding care to children and families

Story

Update - I managed the 5km today (15/08/2013) with another 300m on top for good measure!

Many thanks to all those who have sponsored me for this event!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been swimming for almost a year now, an activity that took place due to eating too many pies. Alas, I still eat far too many pies (!) but the podge they cause is my inspiration to swim along and try to help those at Forget Me Not.

Back in 2012, my first swim was just 10 lengths and I was totally cream crackered. I shall be trying to do "at least" 5km andthe venue is confirmed as Spenborough Swimming Pool - where I learned to swim over 30 years ago! The date is now confirmed as 15th August 2013, so later than originally planned.
