Story
Hi everyone,
In 2016 I am setting out to undertake some of the most physically challenging events I have ever taken on. In the past I have done a couple 10 K runs and Survival of the Fittest but in aid to try and raise some money for charity I will be taking on the Inverness half marathon, Newburgh beach bash, Balmoral 15 Mile Trail, Baker 10K, Edinburgh Half Marathon, Ythan challenge, Spartan Race, Banchory Beast race, Tough Mudder and the Scottish half marathon in Edinburgh. The idea is to try and raise money throughout the year without annoying everyone too much about it!
The money raise will be going towards the Willow Foundation who are a charity who work will ill young adults aged 16-40 to fulfill uplifting and unforgettable special days and after hearing of their work recently and over the past couple of years I think this is an amazing opportunity to raise money for an amazing cause. You can read more about what they do here willowfoundation.org.uk
So give what you can if anything and i'll post updates throughout the year of how bad I am at training, how many times I get injured in a stupid way and promise photos of me being electrocuted, muddied and ice bathed at Tough Mudder!
Cheers, Mikey
