Story
We lost Dad on August 18th 2016 aged just 65, a devastating 11 weeks after the first suggestion something was wrong. Over those short three months we lived a nightmare that only happens to other people, except it didn't.
Dad was the most selfless person you could ever meet. He was the best Grandad to my two girls I could ever dream of, he loved them more than life itself. The short years they spent together (7 for Emma, 5 for Katie) will never be enough, and the love they have for him is heartbreakingly beautiful. We are so lucky to have this man in our lives.
The five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is less than 7% and this statistic hasn't changed for 40 years. It has the worst survival rate of all 22 common cancers & is the fifth biggest cancer killer. Despite this, it receives just over 3% of overall cancer research funding.
I started running in March 2017 to raise money for PCA and use this page to collate all money raised. Any donations - no matter how small - mean so much. Thank you!
