Story

On Sunday 29th September this year, a group of friends are coming together again to remember our dear school friend Justin Brotherton. Four years ago Justin took his own life leaving behind his wife Emma and their 3 beautiful children.

In the wake of his death we are determined to make some good come of this tragedy. To create a fitting legacy for both him and his family, by offering help to others battling their own demons.

Justin loved running. He also, through us, shared a deep connection for our school Christs Hospital, a registered charity. Please sponsor us then, as we run the Barns Green 10k on 29th September 2024 for their Mental Health Programme.

We are now running the Barns Green 10k for the 3rd year in a row in memory of our dear friend Justin. This year we have more runners and alongside Old Blues, we'll be joined by some staff, pupils and Justin's daughter Fleur.

With the extra runners on board we are aiming big. Having previously raised 4k in the last 2 years for Christ Hospital's mental health programme, we would like to get a further 6k this year to get as close to 10k as possible. A huge thank you to anyone who can help us get closer to this total. Any support would also be very welcome on the day: 29 Sep 2024.
