Story

Hello! Thanks for visiting my page. I’ve decided to attempt a marathon after many years of casual jogging (never much beyond 10k!). 2023 and 2024 so far have been a time for positive transitions so I’m very excited to add what would be one of my greatest achievements into the equation.

I am running to raise money for Cyrenians (more details on them below). Ever since working for Centrepoint in London I’ve been passionate about charities that support homeless young people. It is a pleasure to be able to combine this personal challenge with assisting Cyrenians in their work. Any donation you are able to make will be received with a lot of gratitude from myself and Cyrenians.

26th May is the big day, lots of hard training between now and then! Many thanks, Rory

With over 35 projects, we build community and nurture trusted relationships through our values-led and relationships-based approach. From our residential communities, to our FareShare depot; from our outreach teams to our employability courses; from our mediation and support work to our befriending services; Cyrenians offers support to those who need it most. We believe in the power of walking alongside someone as they move from a tough reality to a more stable future.”
