Story
Seema Sharma (1969-2021) received 7 weeks of intensive care at Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading before unfortunately passing away on 29th January 2021. As her family, we were in awe of the heroic staff who gave her unconditional compassion, diligence and support to battle through coronavirus and various other complications. In her honour, we are raising £15,400 to support RBH's urgent appeal to raise £40,000:
"The arrival of coronavirus is placing continued pressure on our local NHS services. We have never been prouder to support the dedicated staff of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and have launched an urgent appeal to help our hard-working NHS staff during these challenging times. The Trust is run by over 5,500 dedicated staff from doctors and nurses, porters and housekeepers, to our back office teams making sure supplies are getting to where they are needed. They are working even harder than usual to ensure they can continue to provide the best possible care for patients and their families."
Instead of flowers and other offerings, we would hugely appreciate a donation to this impactful cause.
100% of your donation will go directly to "The Royal Berks Charity - Our Hospital Heroes" campaign, which has a target of £40,000. Donating to the JustGiving platform is optional.
