Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Three oarsome rowers from Prestwick Coastal Rowing Club will swap their oars for an indoor rowing machine on Saturday 12 March. Evey Prentice, Christine Collins and Mike Shute will be rowing a huge half-marathon distance of 21,097 meters for the charity, Cavernoma Alliance UK.

The three amazing rowers have been training since January and have been coached by fellow coastal rower and indoor rowing coach Annie Atkins. Evey, Mike and Christine have been inspired to do the challenge for Annie's daughter, Iona who suffers from having Cavernomas.

Cavernomas are abnormal blood vessels in the brain or spine and can cause symptoms such as bleeding, stroke-like symptoms and seizures to name but a few.

The Cavernoma Alliance provides support and information to everyone affected by a cavernoma and ultimately find a cure.

Your donation will be so appreciated in order to allow the charity to continue it's amazing work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much for your support and generosity, it really does help.
