4 years after my last mud run (Tough Mudder) I've decided to lycra-suit-up once more and put myself through the agony of hauling my a$$ through mud, grass, hills, more mud, trails, water, hills of mud, ice baths, muddy water plus all the obstacles all in the name of 'fun.' I'm four years older but clearly no wiser as I haven't remembered why I've avoiding doing one of these for so long.

As many of you know I teach guitar for the wonderful Richmond Music Trust here in south west London. Music For All stepped in when all other options collapsed and donated me an acoustic guitar so I could continue teaching all the wondrous kiddies in my musical care. Without them I don't know where I'd be. Heck, I may not be teaching your child! (If that's indeed what I do.)

Music For All donate instruments and musical equipment for organisations that have no other ways of sourcing them. They bring music, life and joy to underprivileged musicians and organisations. Their fantastic work can be found on their Facebook page and website - go check it out if you need that final tug of the heartstrings!
