Story

Rosa Tesalona
17 July 1952 - 12 August 2021

We sadly lost our mum, Rosa Tesalona, on Thursday 12th of August 2021 to a big brain haemorrhage caused by a stroke.

She was on holiday and travelled up to the Lake District with relatives on the Monday of the same week and subsequently suffered the stroke on the same day in the afternoon.

She was looked after by the nurses and doctors and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary who allowed us to be with her until the end so that she would not be alone. They not only looked after her but us too, even with a packed ward of patients to care for.

We want to raise money for the Stroke Unit in particular as they did so much for mum and for us. Mum was all about putting other people first and helping as much as possible so we'd like to do the same and help those in the same situation she was in.
