Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This page records my journey to becoming the Guinness World Record holder for Crossy Road on iOS in 2016. It's still up so people can still donate. Here is the story below. The current record is officially 1702 and can be seen here..

Here is the original post, be sure to check the 'Updates' at the end for the full story.
"My name is Ronnie Weston and I'm a video game freak. I have a lesser know world record score on pac-man for the Atari 7800 a fringe console, but my little 4 year old boy Zane thinks pac-man is dull. He loves Crossy Road on his iPad, and so getting a good score on it would mean i'm down with the kids and cool for pre-school. Call it a midlife crisis if you like.
The week (18th-24th April 2016) is the start of Parkinson's awareness week, and this condition is something that i've been aware of through a good friend, someone i'm close to, and so I'd like to support. My wifes birthday is also this week (and Hitlers by the way, but this is pure coincidence)

Currently Twin Galaxies the official keeper of video game world records has the world record high score for CrossyRoad on iOS (iphone/ipad etc) as 460.

I have very little chance of beating this, but i'll give it a damn good go, up until 31 May when I'll call it a day. So if you would like to sponsor me for 'having a go' i'd appreciate it. I will likely fail.
If I don't succeed I'll pay £200 of my own cash to Parkinsons Uk (as an incentive to try and get the record, even if raise nothing from anyone else).
If I succeed I'll pay £100 of my own cash as a celebration but only if i reach the £500 sponsorship total. I'll set myself a deadline as 31 May to submit the score (and video evidence) to Twin Galaxies.
