I am raising funds for the asbestos cancer charity, Mesothelioma UK, in memory of my friend and neighbour Mike Nicholson who sadly lost his fight with the disease last month.

In my "day job", I run a company (Start Software) which produces systems which help locate and manage asbestos in buildings.  For nearly 20 years I have been aware of the dangers of asbestos and the diseases it can cause. Never once did I imagine that I would see Mesothelioma's tragic impact on a friend.
