This is a massive undertaking for me and the rest of the team. Before the new year I had no rowing experience and now In the summer I will be rowing to Dublin and back! 

I am doing this for Gaz, my cousin who rapidly became my best friend and ‘brother’. Gaz had time for everyone, always looked after his friends, got everyone together, listened when you needed him and helped whenever he could. He wasn’t perfect and no one knew that more than him but he meant the world to us all. 

By raising funds for the DPJ we can hopefully help people who find themselves in similar situations to what Gaz did and avoid other people feeling the void we do. They’re a fantastic charity who help people in the farming community, a community Gaz grew up and worked in for many years. 

Gaz would LOVE this challenge he would be all over it and I hope he will be watching us and that we do him proud!
