Story
Here I go again people and this time I really have bitten off more than I can chew (but hey, I am going to do it anyway. Or die trying!)
Naturally I figured that my Isle of Wight challenge in 2014 couldn't be bettered and to date it remains my most significant running achievement. This one might top it because it is 100k all in one sitting and over some of the most beautiful (but very hilly) scenery the UK has to offer.
Why am I doing this? (I am a little crazy is why!)
Every year hospices provide expert care and support to around 360,000 people, including adults and children with life limiting or terminal conditions as well as friends and families.
This care and support is based on the belief that everyone matters all the way through their life until the moment they die, and that no-one should die in avoidable pain, suffering and emotional distress, and it is your ongoing help and support that really does makes this possible.
I need you again folks. Naturally I make sure that I save my charity stint for the most mental of my challenges. Well this is one and as is ever the case the size of your donation is not important. It is only important that you donated something.
As is always the case and with the utmost sincerity I thank you all that have donated before and I thank you if you simply took the time to read this. I wont lie, I do want donations and I appreciate that charity never stops but I do believe that if you do good things for others, then good things will be done for you.
Failing all else, do it for me. I am running 100K for gaawwwd sake!!!!
