During the last month I have come to hear of 10 people diagnosed with cancer;

- 6 are people at work

- 1 a close work colleague

- friends' loved ones

and probably the most tragic for me......a 12 year old girl, the daughter of a single mother. 

My daughter Jemima is 12 years old and I am a single mother and if faced with such terror with her, I am not really sure how I would get through. 

HOWEVER.....

I also know lots of people that have survived cancer and we know it can be cured in many cases. So Polly (my eldest daugther) and I have decided to go for a little sprint and raise some pennies!!
