Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Story
Hi!
As you may know I am running in the Race for Life on the 22nd of June 2008 with Lindsay (a friend from work), to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Thankfully, I dont't have any family in the UK who have been diagnosed with cancer, but my uncle, in Portugal, is currently fighting leukaemia.
In the past year I have been around people who have had it and have sadly passed away. This is why I would like to do my run in memory of Jim's grandmother Enid, who was a wonderful lady but sadly died last year to cancer. I know there are many people currently dealing or who are helping those with cancer and I hope to raise as much money to help find a cure.
Please dig deep and help us help this fantastic cause.
