Story
Following a dignified and strong battle with prostate cancer sadly Phil lost his final fight on the 17th June at home surronded by those who loved him.
During the course of his illness he received world class medical treatment from The Christie which was supported by additonal emotional and holistic care from the Bury Cancer Support Centre.
The Cancer Support Centre are a not for profit organisation providing complimentary services such as counselling, reflexology and massage through to advice and signposting for all those affected by cancer.
In the current climate we haven't been able to give him the send off he so deserved or that many people have wanted for him. He would be proud to champion this cause and continue to support the ongoing work the cancer centre do.
Phil was not only my dad, he was a loving husband, perfect gentleman, keen pug walker, life long detective, BWFC sufferer, car enthusiast, terrible cook, retired runner and DIY disaster but most importantly he was a friend to everyone.
Thank you for supporting this cause and honoring his memory, we will miss him forever
Love
