Our Nanny was our rock. 4 ft 11 of determination and steadfastness. 

She wanted to die with dignity, which was stated throughout her life. 

Due to the law (now hopefully changing in Scotland) this was not made possible for her, or countless others like her in a terminal state who have had the choice taken from them. 

Simply put, my brother and I are undertaking this hike (dressed as Nanny's favourite animal!) to support terminal patients in crossing the bridge when they want to, not when their bodies can take no more. 

Please, if you can only give 50p we are happy with any donation at all, we would rather you gave a little than not give because others may have given more.
