Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. The Mlambe Project believe that the best means of aiding the Malawian people in their struggle against poverty is through the provision of sustainable livelihoods and a high quality education. 

Viv was a generous supporter of the Mlambe Project. She supported the organisation from its beginning and her continued donations have given hundreds of children the chance to be education inside a classroom, rather than under a tree. 

She specifically noted her wishes for any donations from the service to go to The Mlambe Project.
