As you know, Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer back in May and sadly, we lost her earlier this month. Like the warrior she was, she fought hard right until the end, always with a smile on her face, a laugh at the most inappropriate of things and always with a glass of cava in hand! 

Greenfingers is a small charity dedicated to creating magical gardens for children in hospices around the UK. The charity is run by our good friend, Sue Allen, who was a huge help and support to us all and by supporting mum's memorial fund, we can help Greenfingers to: 

• provide more garden spaces enabling parents to take a break from the rigour of the 24 hour care
• create all weather areas to enable children to enjoy the outside safely through the seasons
• enable hospice carers to provide children's therapies, education and special family time outdoors
• create beautifully lit areas for children to enjoy the garden throughout the darker months
• ensure children and thier families are able to spend time outside in a safe, protective environment
