Story

Hi my names Peter Ananin, I have set off on a bike trip across Britain from John o'Groats to Lands End.

Unlike most bike trips I built my own bike for the trip using donated parts then put them together to complete my Recycled Bike. I will be doing this trip unsupported so that means no vans or cars to help carry my equipment and  to provide food stops. It will be just me, my bike and the road!!

The bike trip is in aid of raising money and awareness for Cancer and Parkinson's research as my family has been heavily affected by both and I would like to be able to dedicate this ride to them and everyone else affected. Donations on this page will go to Cancer Research Uk. Alternatively if you wish to give to Parkinson's Uk please follow the link to my other page http://www.justgiving.com/recycled

I set off on my bike trip on July the 4th 2010, so wish me luck and maybe see you along the way.

I completed my bike trip on the 24th July 2010.

It was a fantastic experience and I am so grateful to everyone who sponsored me. Together we have raised over £3000 for Cancer Research UK.

A big thank you to everybody who has helped me to achieve my goal and more!

Have a look at the promotional video or  check out my news article or see my web pages for more details

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you

Peter
