Story

Heavy rainfall have wrecked havoc across Pakistan triggering flash floods causing numerous human fatalities since mid-June 2022.

▪ As per FAO, there have been approximately 1000 deaths among men, women and children, over 3.1 million people homeless, 59 districts impacted by the calamity, homeless, nearly 0.25 million livestock lost and roads and rail lines cut off from cities, making aid difficult to reach at the flooded areas.

▪ To survive through this disaster, thousands of people require food and tents for basic survival.

▪ It is impossible for the current government to deal with this calamity on its own and require massive funds and logistics to assist these refuges with basic necessities for their survival.

I as a member of EY UK would like to raise for the affected families in collaboration with Sindh Doctors Association a registered charity also raising for the flood victims.

Access to health care is fundamental to our quality of life. It is essential in the daily struggle for survival for the poorest. Yet there are millions that live without basic services in health care and education. The ultimate goal is to provide quality basic education and skilled medical teams to improve these facilities for all the people to the highest level possible regardless of race, religion or gender.
