We provide emergency medical care worldwide to people affected by conflict & disasters.

Story

So this summer the boys and I have decided to do something really hard and really good. We're cycling from Big Ben to the Eiffel Tower on shabby second-hand bikes with no training.

We're making this intentionally difficult for ourselves - we want to earn your money, not just ask for it.

We're raising money for

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)

- a fantastic, independent internationalmedical humanitarian organization that

delivers emergency aid in morethan 60 countries

to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters or exclusion from healthcare.

In emergencies and their aftermath, MSF rehabilitates and runshospitals and clinics, performs surgery, battles epidemics, carries outvaccination campaigns, operates feeding centres for malnourishedchildren and offers mentalhealth care. When needed, MSF also constructs wells, dispenses cleandrinking water, and provides shelter materials like blankets andplastic sheeting.

Through longer-term programmes, MSF treats patients with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, sleeping sickness and HIV/AIDS and provides medical and psychological care to marginalized groups such as street children.

I know times are tough for many right now but that also means that corporate donations to most charities have declined pretty drastically. All donations do help, no matter how small!
