Story
My name is Poppy and i am ten, my sister has been ill since i can remember, we never get to do many normal things because she is always poorly, she goes to the hospital a lot and we have to go too. i want her to be able to play outside with me but she is not even at school at the moment because she keeps getting poorly. last year she was diagnosed with something called Adrenal insufficiency, its part of a condition where her gland in her brain the pituitary gland does not send signals to her adrenal glands on her kidneys to make them work properly. She has to have an emergency injection which we carry everywhere now incase she hurts herself because if she did she doesnt produce hormones like us to survive any shock. My mum has been campaigning for a quick pen for this because there are 4 different pieces to her injection and she cannot work it herself, neither could i. This skywalk is for my molly for Adrenal insufficiency awareness day which my mum has also created with the pituitary foundation, it is on june the 6th and we are all wearing something blue to school, all of the money i raise will help raise awareness to Ai and will help in to research and better medicines being made so she can do all of the things that i can do
Thank you for helping me
