What does it involve: The World Marathon Challenge is an amazing logistical and physical challenge to run 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days, or 168 hours. On 31st January, the first marathon is scheduled to begin at Novo (Antarctica) and is followed by marathons in Cape Town (Africa), Perth (Australia), Dubai (Asia), Madrid (Europe), Fortaleza (South America) and Miami (North America).

Why are you doing it: I have entered the WMC as I see this is a huge personal challenge. It’s something I have wanted to do for several years now since I heard about it first. It’s a big commitment to train and get through it but that will be worth it
