Story
I'm Sarah Watson and I attend the same church in Harrogate as Ruth and Martin Harrison.Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page hosted by Martin.
As a Play Therapist I am deeply concerned about the devastating events in Ukraine and the traumatic impact this will be having on the children of Ukraine whether they have been able to flee the country or remain in Ukraine. As part of the Reach Beyond assistance and connections in Poland we have been invited to provide 50 Play Therapy Kits which I have put together. These include 10 items,each of therapeutic value from Play Dough to help with sensory regulation to pens and a journal to help the children process what they have experienced. This is a chance to get the whole family involved.
You can sponsor one of these Kits by donating £10 as well as sending a card with your family photo and a brief message ideally translated into Ukraine as this will also add to the therapeutic value by helping the children understand in a more tangible way that someone out there is thinking of them.
