After reaching the merry age of thirty, I suddenly realised just how grateful and lucky I am that my friend Hazel is also here to enjoy life with me. If it wasn't for Royal Marsden Hospital and leukaemia research she might not have survived having leukaemia when we were younger. Thankfully she received the best care and support and has gone on to be happily married and recently gave birth to an beautiful baby girl! I love her and want to support Leukamia research. So i'm going to run 8.2 miles!!!!

John and I really enjoyed taking part and spent much of the course checking out possible pubs to frequent and singing Bucks Fizz's 'Making your mind up' (don't ask, it seemed to help!!).
