Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am passionate about animal welfare, and I absolutely adore my hens and turkeys  ! 🐔🦃

The British Hen Welfare Trust saves hundreds of thousands of commercial hens from slaughter by finding them new homes as family pets.

The charity also educates and influences consumers as to how the choices they make at the supermarket impact laying hen welfare.

Thanks mainly to the work of the BHWT,free range eggs now represent  67% of retail egg sales, double what it was in 2004.

Many many people have walked the 102 mile Cotswold  Way,but as far as I know,I will be the first to do it all barefooted  ! 👣

I want to make a difference to the suffering of hens...so please, please sponsor me..every penny you can spare will help let more hens out of their cages to enjoy a happy and well deserved retirement.

Thankyou so much 🙏
