Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. This page has been set up in memory of a much loved husband, dad, brother, grandad, uncle and friend. Phil was taken from us far too soon aged 60, to bowel/liver cancer.

He passed away peacefully in Saint Francis Hospice in Havering-Atte-Bower surrounded by family. This hospice held a very special place in his heart, as it was where his much loved Mum Margaret, (Peggy) had passed away too in November 2000.

His wish was to be taken into their care for his final days as he knew the staff would look after him 'perfectly' and they didn't disappoint. As an alternative to flowers for his funeral, he asked for donations to be made to the Hospice so it can continue to operate in the way it does, as his family we are more than happy to support this as we are eternally grateful for all they done for him, and us. Please use this page to do so.

If you knew Phil, or if this story has touched your heart in some way then please donate whatever you can, every penny counts! Feel free to leave a message/memory of Phil for the family to keep forever.

Lots of love,

Family of Phil Murphy
