The Dufatanye organization began as an association in 2003 and later became a non-governmental organization in Rwanda. Initiated by 7 Rwandans, it was their vision to help the large number
of people affected by HIV/Aids, orphans, malnutrition and family
conflicts in the community. It was created to help restore hope through kitchen gardens, improved food and agricultural practices, as well as, capacity building through social and economic activities.
