Samaritans is a critical service, needed now more than ever. In our local area to Peel Park, we have branches at Preston and Blackpool which are supported through fund-raising events, donations and grants.

Your kind donation goes a long way in keeping our service going. Helping people from all walks of life to talk and offload their problems in a safe confidential space is so vital to our mental health.

Every little bit helps. Thank you for taking the time and your donation to support us. All donations given will be equally split between Blackpool and Preston Branches.

About the charity

We work to enable persons in Preston and the surrounding areas, as well as elsewhere, who experiencing feelings of distress and despair, including those who may be at risk of suicide, to receive confidential emotional support at any time of the day or night. In order to improve their emotional health, reduce the incidence of suicide, to promote within society a better understanding of suicidal behaviour and the value of expressing feelings which may otherwise lead to suicide or impaired emotional health.
