Story

This is the fourth time I have run the Great North Run for the Anthony Nolan Trust and each year i have got a bit slower. 1 hour 59,  2 hours 5 , 2 hours 10. This  year i want under 2 hours so i can pretend i am getting younger. At the moment i won't do it.

Anthony Nolan Trust is a charity that matches patients with blood cancer, Leukaemia and other serious blood disorders to match potential donors for stem cell transplants.

For many people with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant is their last chance of life. For the transplant to be a success they need to find the right match. Anthony Nolan trust is the UK’s most successful stem cell register and brings the patient and donor together. Simple really, why dont they nationalise it?
