Update 22nd October

 

100 other riders and runners will be joining me tomorrow for a blast around the Circuit. Thanks to all the sponsors. Time for some rest.

 

 

 

Update 6th October 2011

Right the entry is confirmed. Thruxton Mass Attack Duathlon is on. 10km run and 30 km ride all around the race track.

Update 12/09/2011.

Well, unfortunately the weather on the day got the better of me and I was unable to complete the swim session of the triathlon (5 foot waves and gusting winds were just a step (or a stroke) too far for my experience .This meant that I could not continue on the rest of the event and had to finish it there.

 

I’m still very keen to do something for the money you have sponsored me (and all the training I have done) so I plan to compete in the Hampshire Duathlon on the 23 October.

 

If you are all in agreement I will keep the charity as Julia’s House just amend the event that you have sponsored me for.

 

Thank you again for your support. It spurred me on to keep going but in the end I had to chose the safer option.

Fantastic nearly at the target..

This will be the third triathlon I have done this year. However this one is definitely the "biggie"! I will be swimming 1 mile swim in the sea, riding 28 miles on the bike from Weymouth to Dorchester and back and then to finish me off a 6 mile run.

I want to do this for Julia's House again. Last time you helped me raise over £300 for them. I'd love to do the same again, maybe even more.

Your welcome to come and watch but with a 07:30 start for the swim you'll have to be in Weymouth early (thanks Kate and the boys!).
