In 2023 ZS Cambridge have been working with Jimmy’s a community-based charity whose goal is to ensure that no one should have to sleep rough in Cambridge. In 2024, here at ZS Cambridge, we want to go the extra mile… literally. On Sunday 3rd March 2024 12 ZSers will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon, raising money for Jimmy’s to help support the amazing work they do!

Jimmy’s is a community-based charity with the belief that no-one should have to sleep rough in Cambridge. They provide safe places that people can call home. From emergency accommodation at our East Road shelter, longer term care at their multiple needs centre, and in supported houses and modular homes. All are important stepping-stones to independent living.

More than 1,000 people in Cambridge are currently facing some sort of housing crisis, and the most recent figures show homelessness increasing in Cambridge by 20%. As the cost of living crisis further amplifies existing pressures, we want to support Jimmy's in their vital work
