Story
During Covid I started cold swimming at Brockwell lido and I honestly think it saved my life, and has continued to do so ever since! Happiest in cold water 🪼 it’s also a rule that if you cold swim you basically have to talk about cold swimming, so most of you have already heard me wax lyrical about how amazing it is!
Two months ago I’d only ever swam a maximum of 14 lengths, so of course in true Zoë fashion I decided to swim the channel and raise some money for the amazing work the RNLI do saving lives!
Together with some equally lovely and possibly slightly crazy humans were doing it! July 12th!
I’m honestly less worried about the swim and the jelly fish! and more worried about the sea sickness- so pray for me! My birthday is two days later and my graduation two days after that so it’s going to be a pretty big week by all accounts!
Some words from Brockwell Swimmers who are going to take care of me:
This year Brockwell Swimmers will again be raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute with three relay teams attempting to cross the Channel.
Also, on Saturday 3rd August Brockwell Swimmers will attempt to swim a matching distance of 676 lengths of the Lido. We have one lane for three hours, 9am to 12noon. How many could you pledge? More details on our web site www.brockwellswimmers.com
