I've been lucky enough to secure a place to run the London Marathon for PDSA. 18 months ago I set up my own doggy day care business and wanted to run for an animal charity, raising money for a cause close to my heart.

Arguably no one should own a pet if they can't afford potential veterinary care, but the sad reality is that this does happen and no animal deserves not to lead a happy and healthy life. PDSA helps 470,000 pets every year, carrying out 2.7 million treatments. Without the support of PDSA these pets would be left untreated which doesn't even bear thinking about...

The winter training for London is brutal as I aim for the third time lucky to get under 4 hours, having failed twice before due to injury and cramp. Any donations however big or small would be greatly appreciated to help me through the training and get me to that finish line.
