Story
Hello, my name is Zoe and I am going to be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust.
I have been growing my hair long for a while now and I think it is time for a change. When I was thinking of getting my hair cut, and the amount that I was going to take off, the idea of donating my hair for a wig came into my head. After a bit of research, I have decided to donate 12 inches of my hair. Taking a few extra inches off my hair to be able to give to someone else felt like an easy decision. It is amazing the confidence that you can feel with hair (long hair for me especially), so what better way to give someone else that confidence than to donate my hair to make a wig!
It costs the Little Princess Trust around £550 to make a wig which is what I have set my goal at but any amount will be amazing!
Thank you all in advance! I will update with a picture of the before, during and after when I get my haircut on the 30th of October.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
