Event: 'Sir' David Gray Cycle for Autism, on 5 May 2024
For autistic children, stepping onto a pitch can feel like entering a world that’s not designed for them. Funds raised will support Team United's expansion, enabling another 180 autistic children aged 8 and above to play weekly football in Scotland.

Story

This year, I had pledged to raise funds for JNF as a 10 year celebration of my journey and 10 years of JNF but decided that I would like to raise as much as I can for a few different charities because why not share the LOVE?!

On Sunday 5th May, I will be cycling as part of the David Gray Cycle for Autism from Hamden Park to Easter Road.

This will be an epic challenge for me, only 3 weeks out of EMF 13.1 but also a brilliant start to my Coast to Coast Training for September and what a worthy cause.

Funds raised will enable another 180 children with autism and other neurodiverse conditions play weekly football in our Team United programme.

For young people with autism, stepping onto a football pitch can feel like entering a world that’s not designed for them. Team United’s programmes help these young people to learn more than just the game – they find confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging on and off the pitch.
