Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

The time has come – I have officially swapped twiglets for trainers and am running the London Marathon in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. For those who don’t know, The Royal Marsden is one of the top five comprehensive cancer centres in the world and has helped my close family members and thousands of others to beat cancer.

The Royal Marsden is one of the top five comprehensive cancer centres in the world. It delivers outstanding levels of patient care and treats more than 60,000 patients a year and it can only continue this work with your charitable support.

I’ve been shifting (my) timber up and down the Thames in preparation, but fear not because come race day – blink and no doubt I will still be c.0.5 ft. in front of where you last saw me. Many of you will be aware that I may not have always been a runner, but that I have mostly enjoyed my training and have been making the most of the marathon appetite and the excuse to carb load.

Any donations – big (like my appetite) or small – would be greatly appreciated. The Royal Marsden delivers outstanding levels of patient care and treats more than 60,000 patients a year and it can only continue this work with your charitable support.

Thank you and see you on the finish line (hopefully)!
