Story

Hey guys!

On the 11th October Danny and myself will be taking part in a massive challenge in order to raise money to help provide some life-saving equipment for paediatric health facilities in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Following the success back in 2023 of the Sandals Foundation Island Run in Antigua, the Island Challenge - Saint Vincent 2024 aims to raise £100,000 and we are so fortunate to be a part of it.

The 50km challenge will include

Day 1- Half marathon

Day 2- 15km run and 10km sea kayak in Bequia

Day 3- 15km run and 10km sea kayak in St Vincent

Day 4- 10km hike up an active volcano

Access to the right equipment, facilities and resources can significantly improve a country's ability to provide the proper medical attention to its people, especially its children. This year’s event will provide vital funding for paediatric healthcare services including essential new equipment for the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in Saint Vincent. A portion of the money raised will also go towards supporting the hurricane relief mission in the Southern Grenadine islands. Staying true to the focus of the Island Challenge, funds will be used to support healthcare facilities that have been impacted by Hurricane Beryl.

Thank you for even taking the time to click on this page and have a read! Any money you can spare for such an amazing cause would be really appreciated! Wish us luck and we hope to do you all proud!
