Story

The last time I did a fundraising run was with friends for Cancer Research in support of our beautiful friend Sarah who had been diagnosed with bowel cancer. We jogged and stumbled over obstacles in torrential rain, mud and winds, but were full of hope. Heartbreakingly, she died less than 2 years later in April 2023, her three gorgeous boys still so young. Scarlett thinks I'm excruciatingly uncool, old and strict. I think she's 'strong-willed'. But I also think she's funny, passionate, creative and utterly beautiful and I know it's my biggest privilege to be able to see her grow. In March we'll be running a little 5k together and with friends in Birmingham to raise money for the Birmingham Hospice that cared for Sarah and supported her family in the last few weeks of her life. Any donations, no matter how small, would be so gratefully received. Xxx

Thank you
